Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform welding work to fabricate vessels, piping, and skid-mounted equipment for treating processes to meet specifications and certification requirements.
  • •Cut, join, layout, and prepare metal parts for welding using tools such as plasma cutter, submerged arc welding, MIG, TIG, and oxyacetylene welding.
  • •Fabricate material from piping schematics and other drawings and interpret technical drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions to determine welding requirements.
  • •Set up components for welding and prepare product/parts (e.g., cut, grind) according to specifications.
  • •Work safely and complete documentation while maintaining facilities and equipment and addressing safety/environmental concerns.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of working knowledge and experience as a welder.
  • •Knowledge of basic properties of metals.
  • •Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company insurability requirements.
  • •Maintain individual welding qualification and certifications per requirements and meet job classification progression requirements.
