Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of external financial reporting, including quarterly/annual SEC filings, in accordance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • •Serve as technical accounting authority by establishing, executing, documenting, and disclosing accounting policies and monitoring new FASB/SEC requirements.
  • •Direct day-to-day accounting operations, oversee corporate accounting and the monthly/quarterly close cycle, and ensure SOX 404 internal control effectiveness.
  • •Lead Accounting Transformation initiatives, including ERP modernization, process automation, intelligent automation/robotics, and data infrastructure.
  • •Lead and develop a large multi-functional accounting organization spanning corporate accounting, financial reporting, accounting policy, controls & compliance, transformation, and AP/AR/payroll.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration; CPA required.
  • •20+ years of progressively responsible accounting leadership, including Big 4 audit of public companies and/or senior corporate accounting at large public companies.
  • •Demonstrated leadership of external financial reporting (SEC filings), accounting policy, general ledger/controllership, and internal controls/SOX.
  • •Experience with inventory and cost accounting in a high-volume, multi-location business.
  • •Experience managing multi-entity consolidations and complex financial close processes.
