Job Summary

Drive company commercial vehicles to deliver asphalt and aggregates to construction job sites and customers. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, operate trucks safely and efficiently, and follow dispatch instructions and applicable DOT/OSHA/MSHA rules. Manage loading procedures, delivery tickets, gauges, operator logs, and customer delivery invoices, while reporting issues and completing operator maintenance and minor repairs. Work outdoors and handle varied equipment types with training provided.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
•Operate trucks to deliver asphalt/aggregates to job sites and customers safely, following dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•Handle loading and unloading tasks, including securing equipment, dumping contents as needed, and using spreader chains when applicable.
•Check delivery tickets for special instructions, obtain signatures, and ensure proper entry of delivery information on invoices.
•Monitor vehicle gauges, investigate abnormalities, complete operator maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain operator logs and other required records.

Salary: USD 38.28 - 54.68 hourly

Key Requirements

•Safety-minded with good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
•Pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
•Conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and all other company/state rules and regulations.
•Valid Class A CDL and medical card, plus current US authorization to work (or ability to obtain without company assistance) and ability to join Teamsters Local #174.
