Job Summary

Provide hands-on technical support for a specific customer’s EPI equipment and processes, acting as the field escalation focal point between the customer and Applied’s division. Support Alpha and Beta site activities including installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing for new hardware, software, or process designs. Review ECOs, generate and present system performance and process metrics (e.g., MTBF/MTBI/availability), support documentation (CENs/BKMs), and ensure field implementation.

Key Responsibilities

•Own technical support activities for a specific customer, including escalations, fleet performance, system installations, improvement programs, and upgrades.
•Serve as intermediary and field escalation focal point between customer and division, providing technical support and documentation to field teams.
•Provide Alpha Site support for in-house new hardware, process, or software design, covering installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing.
•Provide Beta Site support for installation, operation, calibration, service, and testing of new hardware, software, or processes on customer tools.
•Initiate and review ECOs, generate/present system performance and process data (e.g., MTBF/MTBI/availability, I/W spending analysis), and ensure field implementation of improvements.

Travel: Extensive travel

•Have knowledge of best practices and how your area integrates with others; understand market differentiators.
•Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risks.

•Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
