Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee design development, review, and construction of depot civil and structural works (including workshops, sheds, inspection pits, and related foundations).
  • •Oversee civil/structural works for buildings along the rail alignment, including signalling equipment rooms, substations, telecommunications huts, and emergency structures.
  • •Lead multidisciplinary civil/structural engineering and site supervision teams; allocate resources across depot and wayside building work-fronts.
  • •Develop and maintain construction schedules for the civil works scope; monitor progress, identify delays, and implement recovery measures.
  • •Enforce HSE requirements and manage cost control, change/variation assessment, risks, non-conformances, and close-out documentation for commissioning and handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience managing design and/or construction of rail projects, within the required expertise.
  • •At least 5 years of that experience managing design and/or construction specifically for a railway project.
  • •Experience implementing High Speed Rail (HSR) projects is highly preferable.
  • •Have held the same or an equivalent position on at least one project of similar size and complexity.
  • •University degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related); Master’s and/or Chartered Engineer status preferred.
