Job Summary

Own the design and governance of enterprise finance data models built on Data Vault 2.0 within a Medallion Architecture. Define modeling approaches per business domain, translating business requirements and domain semantics into implementation-ready specifications for data engineering. Collaborate with BI and analytics teams to ensure reporting and analytical fit, while enforcing standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation via a living enterprise model catalog.

Key Responsibilities

•Own enterprise data model design across the integrated vault layer and business-facing analytical structures, ensuring historical correctness and analytical fitness.
•Define and govern the modeling approach for each business domain, choosing the right structure at each layer based on business and technical requirements.
•Deliver precise, implementation-ready model specifications for data engineering teams.
•Translate complex business requirements into formal data models with accurate domain semantics in collaboration with subject matter experts and product owners.
•Define and enforce modeling standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation practices, maintaining a living catalog of enterprise data models.

Key Requirements

•Lead the full Data Vault modeling lifecycle from conceptual sessions through logical design to physical model specifications across all layers.
•Deep, hands-on expertise in Data Vault 2.0 and strong dimensional modeling knowledge for analytical consumption.
•Ability to own and govern data models across integrated historized and business-facing consumption layers with clear structural contracts.
•Solid understanding of Medallion Architecture and how responsibilities map to each layer.
•Experience with data modeling tools and capability to translate models into ETL/ELT patterns; strong documentation and communication skills.
