Job Summary

Senior GIS Solution Engineer for Esri's Health & Sciences practice, advising customers (NOAA, NASA, HHS, Census) on complex GIS solutions. You’ll lead technical meetings, design and present ArcGIS-based strategies, integrate GIS with enterprise systems, and coach teammates while driving revenue and solving mission-critical geospatial challenges.

•Build relationships by presenting, demonstrating, and supporting Esri software and solutions as part of the account team; lead technical meetings with enterprise-level decision makers to drive revenue.
•Be a technical leader of Esri technology and spatial data science; understand workflows, integration points, and coach new team members on best practices.
•Proactively craft and propose solutions that show how GIS adds business value and align Esri tech with customers’ business needs.
•Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences within Esri’s largest customers; provide configuration guidance and best practices; present at conferences and executive engagements.
•Travel domestically or internationally 25-50% (typical below 25%)

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
•3+ years of experience in the sciences community

•Demonstrated experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design
•Understanding of sales and business development processes
