Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and advise on legal issues across privacy, data protection, intellectual property, marketing, online safety, AI regulation, platform, competition, and consumer laws.
  • •Advise product, go-to-market, partnership terms, consumer-facing terms, and risk mitigation for agentic and generative AI product development.
  • •Contribute to the development and operationalization of company-wide AI policies, processes, and legal frameworks.
  • •Draft and maintain legal playbooks and internal guidance for AI tools and technologies.
  • •Coordinate responses to privacy or data security incidents, including investigations, notifications, and resolution efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Legally qualified (AUS/NZ, UK, EU or US practising certificate).
  • •10+ years practicing law with some in-house experience, preferably at a technology company.
  • •Familiarity with global digital, AI, privacy, consumer and online safety laws and regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, Digital Services Act, Online Safety Act(s)).
  • •Deep understanding of modern AI technology and products, including generative and agentic AI with privacy, IP, safety and regulatory considerations.
  • •Comfort collaborating with stakeholders across time zones.
