Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect piping fabrication and installation in accordance with approved ITPs, isometrics, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • •Verify material identification, traceability, dimensions, fit-up, flange condition, supports, and installation quality.
  • •Verify welding documentation and coordinate/review required NDT results and repair status.
  • •Witness pressure/leak tests and verify test packs, reinstatement, and completion evidence.
  • •Raise QOCs/NCRs, ensure effective corrective-action closure, and support progressive compilation of quality records and turnover dossiers.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical/piping technical qualification or an engineering degree/diploma.
  • •Minimum 5 years of piping QC experience in industrial EPC/EPCM construction or fabrication environments.
  • •Strong knowledge of piping drawings/isometrics, material traceability, fabrication/installation, and pressure testing.
  • •Experience with welding/NDT documentation, ITPs, NCR/QOC processes, and inspection records.
  • •Welding Engineer qualification (IWE/EWE or recognized international equivalent) and NDT Level II to ISO 9712 (VT, MT, PT, RT, within certificate limitations).
