Job Summary

Provide L1 managed services to keep clients’ IT infrastructure and systems running smoothly. Monitor networks for errors, investigate and resolve first-line incidents, and follow approved procedures for requests. Execute maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes, support shift handovers, and help identify optimization opportunities through automation and process improvements. Escalate when needed, contribute to knowledge updates, and occasionally support project work and disaster recovery tests.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide L1 managed services by monitoring client infrastructure and resolving technical incidents to keep systems operational.
•Investigate first-line incidents, understand root causes, and follow approved procedures for request fulfillment.
•Support maintenance activities including patching and configuration changes, and ensure smooth shift handovers for continuous service.
•Resolve tickets using knowledge articles and SOPs, escalating incidents and requests when necessary.
•Identify optimization opportunities, update/share knowledge, and occasionally support project work and disaster recovery functions and tests.

Key Requirements

•Basic understanding of networking/security technologies including Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches, ASr/ISr routers, Cisco ACS, ISE, and Meraki switches.
•Understand common routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
•Strong ticket handling discipline, acting promptly according to defined SOPs.
•Good understanding of ITSM tools and ITSM processes to resolve incidents and requests.
•Bachelor’s degree in information technology/computing or equivalent experience.
