Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage VE and CE projects with R&D, production, sourcing, and commercial teams to define activities, monitor progress, and manage risks for successful completion.
  • •Prepare project test plans to confirm alternate components meet requirements and final product performance aligns to specifications.
  • •Perform component and product qualification, documenting change descriptions, test instructions, and producing user guides and manuals.
  • •Conduct redesign activities on existing products to deepen Fire & Security industry knowledge and support implementation of applicable fire standards requirements.
  • •Track and document design and test activities (development, functional, automated, and environmental/climate tests) and apply DFM/DFT to optimize for manufacturing and verification.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, mechanical engineering, and component engineering.
  • •Knowledge of Value Analysis (VA) and Value Engineering (VE).
  • •Knowledge of mechanical design and mechanical components, including GD&T and material/specification/tolerancing with 3D modeling.
  • •Proficiency with English and Italian, plus experience managing multiple projects and setting priorities.
