Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and report the life-cycle of Eaton-owned tools at supplier locations on a regular basis.
  • •Identify and facilitate timely tool replacements and refurbishments through collaboration with Category management, plants, and suppliers.
  • •Extract, clean, structure, and analyze complex data from internal sources to generate meaningful insights.
  • •Provide accurate, timely reporting of tooling risks based on tooling life-cycle data.
  • •Use process improvement and project management skills to support tooling management activities and presentations.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelors in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering).
  • •5–7 years of relevant experience in supply chain management in global environments.
  • •At least 2–3 years of plant exposure, including knowledge of how tools are designed and operated and the tool scrap process.
  • •Working knowledge of the tool life-cycle process and tooling risk management with accurate, timely reporting.
  • •Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, plus ERP and business intelligence tools such as Oracle, SAP, OBIEE, and QlikView.
