Job Summary

Join the Geotechnical Team working predominantly across Bengaluru and Noida, supporting delivery of geotechnical projects—especially metro—through strong technical design and project execution. You’ll produce and review geotechnical reports, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and manage project work with budget responsibility. The role emphasizes foundation and slope stability design, ground investigation review, Eurocode 7 compliance, and adherence to SHEQ standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop technically competent geotechnical reports and deliver best-value services to clients using efficient working practices.
•Support project delivery end-to-end, including financial analysis, client liaison, public/statutory consultations, and quality control.
•Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams on geotechnical projects and provide professional advice to build client relationships.
•Effectively manage and deliver projects with robust project financial management and budget responsibility.
•Work in accordance with accepted methods and legislation (including CDM) and WSP’s SHEQ standards.

Key Requirements

•5 to 8 years’ experience in design of foundations, slope stability, embedded retaining walls, and settlement analysis for infrastructure projects (especially metro).
•Proven experience with geotechnical desk studies, critical checking of Ground Investigation Factual Reports, and preparing Ground Investigation Reports in accordance with Eurocode 7: Part 1.
•Demonstrable geotechnical design experience and familiarity with design submission documentation, ground investigation, and construction contracts/specifications.
•Ability to use geotechnical software for design and for management, review, and presentation of ground investigation and geotechnical data.
•Master’s degree in civil engineering with Geotechnical Engineering / Soil Mechanics and Foundation engineering specialisation, and working toward full professional membership/chartership.
