Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design of various fluid systems related to tunnel boring machines and associated support equipment.
  • •Develop hydraulic circuit schematics and select components to meet the hydraulic power requirements for various systems of tunnel boring machines.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert for hydraulic design projects, providing assistance and direction to other team members as needed.
  • •Employ competent use of judgment, hand calculations, FEA and CAD to develop and communicate designs.
  • •Own project schedule to ensure timely completion from conception to implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
  • •5+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering role or relevant position.
  • •Experience in the design and commissioning of hydraulic systems for industrial equipment.
  • •Proficiency in reading and understanding complex hydraulic schematics for industrial equipment.
  • •Experience in designing hydraulic schematics using CAD tools such as HydrawCAD, Visio, etc.
