Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate pipeline facilities from the control center and run multiple pipelines at the same time.
  • •Monitor and control pipeline operations through SCADA systems, detecting and responding to abnormal conditions.
  • •Coordinate safe and efficient transportation of refined petroleum products and specialty chemicals.
  • •Determine accurate timing of pipeline events by reviewing batch listings and schedules, and update pipeline schedulers throughout the shift.
  • •Communicate emergency conditions quickly to field operators, receive/respond to customer calls/emails, and train others on operational tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree, Certification in Process Control, or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • •Ability to pass an Operation Qualification test after training.
  • •Competence with PC software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and databases.
  • •Strong recognition and response to abnormal operations and alarms, including multi-tasking with composure.
  • •Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift and be on-call for call outs as required.
