Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall management and technical operations oversight for assigned vessels, including daily maintenance and repair.
  • •Ensure company-owned vessels are operated safely and economically and fully comply with class and statutory regulations.
  • •Maintain classification status and send survey status reports to vessels monthly.
  • •Support and monitor planned preventive maintenance, ensuring the planned maintenance system is operated and reported per company standards and procedures.
  • •Oversee repairs and dry-dockings: prepare dry-dock specifications, supervise repair completion, coordinate with repair yards/subcontractors/class/administration, and ensure technical information is updated in the PMS system.

Key Requirements

  • •Unlimited STCW ’95 Chief Engineer’s license (Motor) for sea-going vessels.
  • •Engineering degree/diploma in mechanics or electromechanical engineering.
  • •Ability to manage daily maintenance and repair, including budgeting and survey scheduling for assigned vessels.
  • •Ensure vessels are operated in compliance with Class and Statutory regulations and maintain classification status.
  • •Experience coordinating dry-dock specifications, repairs, and updates in the vessel PMS system.
