Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform Tier II operations and maintenance (O&M) tasks for Regional Hub Node systems and subsystems.
  • •Provide Tier II support for networking equipment and configuration management.
  • •Submit, manage, process, and resolve Tier II tickets.
  • •Support networking functions including TCP/IP routing (OSPF/BGP), VoIP formatting, IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), VPN tunneling, VPN routing/forwarding, and IP switching/routing.
  • •Provide on-site support according to assigned shift schedule, including network troubleshooting and incident reporting/after-action analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •High School/GED plus at least six (6) years of network configuration experience (associate degree or trade school in IT/CS with four (4) years also acceptable).
  • •Current unexpired COMPTIA Security+CE certification required prior to hire.
  • •Minimum active Secret Clearance.
  • •US citizenship required by the contract.
  • •CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing & Switching within 6 months of hire; CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
