Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise the client on cost strategies and manage vendor prequalification, proposal/bid assessment, bid levelling, and bid interviews to make recommendations.
  • •Manage estimating services by developing project estimates, reviewing junior team estimates, presenting estimates, value engineering recommendations, and risk assessments to the client.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasts by establishing reporting schedules, presenting cost reports, maintaining a commercial risk register, and hosting periodic project and vendor meetings.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment applications and change order requests, liaising with project managers on contractor entitlements, and supporting dispute prevention/management/resolution.
  • •Oversee invoicing and final accounting activities, including post contract audits/closeouts, post-contract reviews/lesson-learned outputs, and handover procedure development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a construction-related field.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is valuable.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects, including construction consultancy experience (preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of construction technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; strong communication skills.
