Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the truck to receive sand, gravel, concrete, and water and start the mixer.
  • •Transport and unload concrete to job sites and release concrete to the chute, conveying container, or area to be poured.
  • •Clean and maintain the truck after delivery to prevent concrete hardening in the mixer and on the truck.
  • •Inspect truck equipment and supplies (e.g., tires, lights, brakes, fluid levels) and keep paperwork in order.
  • •Follow DOT rules and company safety practices; assist customers with placing and spreading concrete when needed.
