Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee a team of Payloads Engineering Unit Members (E-UMs), E-UMs in training, and support staff delegated by the FAA to find compliance.
  • •Manage team assignments to support Boeing commitments and coordinate with design, certification, and production teams to remove roadblocks.
  • •Coach and develop team members to improve performance, quality, and adherence to approved policies and processes.
  • •Facilitate resolution of technical or interpersonal issues and mitigate certification-related interference risk.
  • •Recruit and develop new E-UMs, support credential maintenance, and lead initiatives that improve the certification system while working closely with regulators and the E-UM Administrator.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
  • •7+ years of experience in engineering roles with design, integrations, and/or certification responsibilities.
  • •At least one year of experience in a leadership role OR completion of the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
  • •Demonstrated ability to build consensus among stakeholders with differing perspectives.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
