Key Responsibilities

  • •Research new securities purchased in institutional portfolios using the Bloomberg terminal and other market data sources.
  • •Create, define, and maintain securities records across order management, accounting, and data warehouse systems, including monitoring post-trade compliance triggers.
  • •Ensure risk and control effectiveness by identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling risks and following written risk/compliance policies and procedures.
  • •Diagnose and investigate complex system and data problems to identify root cause errors, and lead corrections of complex trade data problems across managers and formats.
  • •Execute trade reconciliations, regulatory reporting, collateral processing, and SMF reviews; lead testing and projects and assign work to other analysts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree; or 4 years of related experience may substitute in lieu of degree.
  • •8 years of experience in investment operations or middle office functions within the financial services industry.
  • •Subject matter expertise in securities laws and regulations, and in Investment Operations Middle Office functions.
  • •Advanced knowledge and application of Investments Control Frameworks, including control testing and audits.
  • •Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data analysis using relational databases.
