Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end E6 data and AI strategy, from trusted single-source foundations through to AI products people use day to day.
  • •Lead and grow a team of four across data engineering, analytics, and AI—setting priorities and building capability.
  • •Run the cloud compute estate globally, owning capacity, cost, performance, security, and resilience for 24/7 manufacturing.
  • •Deliver governed, real-time data foundations across all six factories, including trusted datasets, shared definitions, master data, and quality controls.
  • •Take AI from pilot to embedded with clear use cases, measurable value, and guardrails for responsible use, while enforcing data governance, ethics, and privacy standards.

Key Requirements

  • •A track record of setting data vision and direction as a strategic authority for data and AI.
  • •Experience building data governance and ethics standards (not just following them).
  • •Strong data engineering/platform knowledge, including pipelines and APIs, at scale.
  • •Applied machine learning and AI experience, knowing where models add value and where they don’t.
  • •Hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure (Azure and Databricks), covering cost, capacity, resilience and security, plus people leadership experience.
