Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and operational support across the medical assistance platform.
  • •Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Medical Officers; oversee nursing function.
  • •Act as primary escalation point for complex and high-risk medical cases, including evacuations and repatriations.
  • •Support clinical governance, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance are maintained, including medical reviews and dispute resolution.
  • •Partner with Operations, Claims, Network, and Commercial teams to drive service improvement using data-led decision making and clinical transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •AHPRA registered Medical Specialist.
  • •Fellowship in FACEM, FCICM, or FANZCA.
  • •Minimum 3 years post-fellowship experience in an acute clinical environment.
  • •Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring medical professionals.
  • •Strong clinical knowledge in emergency medicine, intensive care, travel medicine, infectious diseases and/or retrieval medicine.
