Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts for procurement, including purchase orders/agreements, service agreements, license agreements, long-term supply agreements, and NDAs.
  • •Identify and mitigate legal risk for supported teams by implementing processes, trainings, and controls.
  • •Provide legal analysis of applicable laws, regulations, and industry practices related to acquisition of goods and services.
  • •Counsel Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Facilities throughout procurement lifecycle stages, including RFPs, RFQs, purchase agreements, license agreements, and dispute resolution.
  • •Manage SpaceX’s form purchase order and standard terms and conditions, and improve forms, policies, and processes (including using AI and other technologies).

Key Requirements

  • •JD (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school.
  • •5+ years of legal experience.
