Job Summary

Provide technical and consultative support for complex ServiceNow platform issues. Analyze, design, and develop solutions based on user specifications while applying ServiceNow best practices to remediate technical debt and maintain platform stability. Perform routine maintenance with performance monitoring, manage instance security and access control (users, roles, ACLs), and develop a reporting strategy and maintenance plan. Support internal teams and external business partners through training and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications.
•Advise internal teams and lines of business on platform process and technology inefficiencies.
•Perform routine maintenance including performance monitoring and error identification/remediation.
•Maintain and improve platform stability by identifying and incorporating best practices and addressing technical debt.
•Manage instance security and access control (user/group access, roles, and ACLs), and provide training and reporting strategy/maintenance planning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
•5+ years of experience in application development with ITSM and ServiceNow.
•Experience with ServiceNow best practices and remediating technical debt in the Now platform.
•Ability to manage instance security, user/group access, roles, and Access Control Lists (ACLs).
•Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) experience and knowledge of web services including REST and JSONv2.
