Job Summary

Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites safely and efficiently as a Ready-Mix Driver. Operate a mixer truck on highways and in yard areas, perform daily vehicle inspections with a driver check-off sheet, and back under batching equipment to receive loads. Review load consistency, follow written/verbal directions using maps and GPS information, complete required paperwork, and maintain clean truck operation with basic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites safely.
•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Operate the mixer truck safely on public highways/roads and in the yard to deliver materials.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Follow written and verbal instructions using maps/directions, assemble chute(s), and complete required paperwork while maintaining truck cleanliness and basic maintenance.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Must possess and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
