Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement features and bug fixes across App Platform and Functions services in Go.
  • •Develop control plane capabilities including gRPC/HTTP APIs, reconciliation loops, and lifecycle workflows for apps and functions.
  • •Improve the Kubernetes runtime experience: scheduling, isolation, observed/healed behavior, and cluster-facing controllers.
  • •Enhance Functions runtime behavior for cold-start/warm-path performance, isolation, reliability, and operational tooling.
  • •Participate in on-call rotations to investigate production issues, write runbooks, and drive reliability and operability improvements through testing and reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of software engineering experience building and shipping production services.
  • •Proficiency in Go, or a strong background in another typed systems language with the ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts (Deployments, Services, Controllers/Operators, resource limits, networking); hands-on deployment/operations experience is a plus.
  • •Understanding of distributed systems (replication, latency trade-offs, failure modes, reconciliation) and curiosity to go deeper.
  • •Experience with containerized environments, microservices, and SQL databases (MySQL/Postgres); gRPC is a plus.
