Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a vehicle in accordance with state and federal transportation laws and safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and efficiently along required routes while obeying traffic laws.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and help return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading), perform routine service checks, and report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Class A CDL (or chauffeur’s license depending on state) appropriate for the vehicle weight you will operate.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing, including a 10-panel drug screen for this safety-sensitive position.
  • •Pass a DOT physical; be at least 21 years old and maintain a clean driving record.
  • •Be able to sit for long periods and lift/move up to 40 pounds as needed for deliveries.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and speak professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
