Key Responsibilities

  • •Shape and own greenfield work across the card stack end to end, from technical design through implementation, launch, and iteration.
  • •Build and improve backend systems powering card products with a focus on reliability, performance, and correctness.
  • •Work on core card infrastructure including card issuance, tokenization, authorization flows, BIN management, transaction processing, card lifecycle management, and dispute infrastructure.
  • •Make architectural decisions and balance speed, quality, and scale, influencing what the team builds and how it evolves.
  • •Partner with Product and Design to clarify goals and deliver outcomes, while raising the technical bar through reviews, documentation, pairing, and mentorship.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production-grade systems used by real users.
  • •Experience building and owning backend systems in payments, cards, or financial services, ideally with card issuance, authorization, payment rails, or card lifecycle management exposure.
