Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI 4.0, and other compliance audit cycles by gathering/organizing evidence, documenting and building controls, coordinating with auditors, and partnering on remediation.
  • •Own compliance automation using Vanta by monitoring control status, fixing failing checks, keeping integrations healthy, and updating the risk register.
  • •Run vendor and third-party risk reviews, security assessments of new tools, periodic re-reviews, and track subprocessor and vendor inventories.
  • •Partner with sales and legal to respond to customer/vendor security questionnaires, RFP security sections, and trust-and-safety inquiries.
  • •Handle security operations work including vulnerability triage and prioritization, monitoring/responding to alerts, supporting incident response, and maintaining security runbooks and playbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in security operations, GRC, IT security, or a related role.
  • •2+ years of experience with compliance audit cycles, including gathering evidence, documenting controls, and working with auditors.
  • •One or more security certifications such as CISA, Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or an equivalent certification.
  • •Experience with recurring security operations activities like security reviews, vulnerability tracking, alert triage, or control monitoring.
  • •Proficiency in Python and comfort reading others’ code; fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot) to build automations and documentation.
