Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with Account Executives to run pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proofs of concept, RFPs, design documentation, and technical presentations.
  • •Lead the technical and product sale by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on how to use Twilio APIs.
  • •Establish trusted-advisor relationships by understanding customer technical pain points through discovery and translating them into innovative solutions.
  • •Build and present interactive, complex product demonstrations showcasing Twilio communications capabilities to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • •Mentor less experienced presales engineers and contribute reusable demonstration materials to the presales engineering community.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years pre-sales experience selling complex technical products or 10+ years supporting technical products with customer-facing experience in delivery or consulting.
  • •Experience leading technical discovery and communicating complex topics to multiple stakeholder levels, gaining audience confidence.
  • •Ability to understand customer communications needs and guide them to technical solutions, including backend or web development knowledge.
  • •Hands-on experience with REST APIs and prior experience in telecom areas such as SIP, contact center, or security.
  • •Proficient German speaker; Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
