Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of medical equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements.
  • •Conduct equipment inspections, acceptance testing, and commissioning for newly acquired medical devices.
  • •Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and equipment inventories using CMMS.
  • •Coordinate with clinical departments, vendors, and service providers to resolve equipment-related issues in a timely manner.
  • •Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, hospital policies, accreditation standards, and medical device safety regulations; provide user training and investigate failures or incidents.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Minimum 2–5 years of biomedical engineering experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of medical equipment, including critical care, operating theatre, imaging, laboratory, and patient monitoring devices.
  • •Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards, medical device regulations, and maintenance best practices.
  • •Experience with CMMS and hospital information systems is preferred.
