Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, and develop space- and radiation-tolerant, highly reliable electronics for satellite operations.
  • •Own electronics design across the lifecycle: concept development, requirements, architecture definition, component selection, schematic capture, layout, simulation, DFx, bring-up, verification, and qualification.
  • •Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, thermal, software, RTL, RF, GNC, manufacturing) to solve problems and deliver innovative solutions.
  • •Work with contract manufacturers to ensure designs are manufacturable, built on-time, and meet Astranis’s quality and reliability needs.
  • •Develop and maintain project schedules and assist recruiting, interviewing, and hiring teammates.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. or higher in electrical or computer engineering (or similar technical degree).
  • •5+ years of professional experience with fast-paced product design cycles.
  • •5+ years of board-level experience designing hardware from concept through production.
  • •Strong analog/mixed-signal circuit design skills, including designing, building, and testing hardware from scratch.
  • •Passion for hardware development and hands-on design work in a fast-paced environment.
