Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the primary legal advisor to APAC sales teams on Terms of Service negotiation, contract redlining, and commercial agreement reviews.
  • •Lead live negotiations with customers and their counsel on strategic and enterprise deals, including escalated matters involving customer paper and novel risk allocation.
  • •Serve as the APAC Legal Primary DRI under the Legal Matter Framework to ensure escalations are handled in-region and in-time-zone.
  • •Partner with Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams to structure and review commercial agreements that align with business objectives while mitigating legal and operational risks.
  • •Develop templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources for commercial transactions and sales support, and coordinate privacy/AI governance issues with the relevant teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven expertise supporting commercial transactions, including enterprise-level SaaS agreements, Terms of Service negotiations, and sales contract reviews.
  • •Qualified to practise in an APAC jurisdiction, with English as the working language for negotiations and internal collaboration.
  • •Comfort operating across multiple APAC jurisdictions and legal traditions, knowing when local counsel is needed.
  • •Strong commercial drafting skills to produce clear, precise, enforceable agreements that protect Remote’s interests.
