Key Responsibilities

•Own the commodity strategy for a designated critical mineral, focusing on supply chain resilience, geopolitical risk mitigation, cost, and quality.
•Build and maintain tiered supply chain mapping, quantifying revenue exposure and BOM impact to prioritize deeper intervention.
•Maintain market intelligence and communicate updates on pricing, disruptions, and geopolitical signals through recurring reviews and executive briefings.
•Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP sourcing execution across miners, refiners, processors, and component suppliers, including should-cost/TCO analysis and agreement negotiation.
•Manage supplier performance and continuity of supply through NPI-to-MP transitions while driving strategic interventions such as stockpiling, prepayments, and partnerships.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
•10+ years of experience in commodity management and strategic sourcing with direct exposure to critical minerals or downstream products.
•Demonstrated experience navigating concentrated, geopolitically sensitive supply chains.
•Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel to mines, refiners, and processors.
•Ability to relocate and be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
