Job Summary

Support applied AI and data research within the Chief Data Office, helping turn research visions into practical work packages. Contribute to scientific articles and experiments across AI, Conversational AI, and AI transparency/trust, as well as data strategy, architecture, quality, privacy, and data culture. Develop applications tested with real users in the Allianz Versicherungs-AG, and help finalize papers, posters, and presentations up to board level. Opportunity to write a master’s thesis or pursue a cumulative PhD.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to research articles in areas including AI, Conversational AI, AI transparency & trust, and multiple data topics such as strategy, architecture, ownership, glossaries, catalogs, quality, privacy, and culture.
•Perform quantitative and qualitative research at a scientific level.
•Develop applications to measure and evaluate outcomes with real users in Allianz Versicherungs-AG.
•Help develop and finalize scientific articles, posters, and presentations up to board level.
•Integrate research results into the Allianz-wide AI & Data Applied Research Community.

Key Requirements

•Strong study performance in (business) informatics, business administration, technology management, (business) psychology or a related program (grade overview/snapshot to be provided).
•High affinity for using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Gemini Research.
•Demonstrated learning readiness and integrity.
•Experience in scientific writing and possibly publishing.
•First experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira is desirable.
