Key Responsibilities

  • •Accurately document and update claims data/information in line with workers’ compensation best practices.
  • •Determine compensability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and applying applicable laws and statutes.
  • •Evaluate coverage by analyzing policy documents for location and date of loss.
  • •Develop case strategy, conduct case evaluation, and escalate issues as appropriate for timely resolution.
  • •Establish and review reserves throughout the claims cycle within authority limits, and assess exposure based on case facts and jurisdictional statute.

Salary: USD 83,400 - 136,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in claims and/or litigation management, or Juris Doctor with 2+ years, or other listed education/experience combinations.
  • •Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
  • •Jurisdictional knowledge in California Workers Compensation.
  • •Microsoft Office experience.
  • •Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.
