Job Summary

Wealth Planner role responsible for comprehensive wealth structuring and wealth succession guidance for high and ultra-high net-worth clients in offshore China and offshore Taiwan markets. Collaborates with the Wealth Planning & Advisory team to cross-sell HSBC legacy capabilities, drives revenue growth, trains relationship managers, monitors industry trends, and maintains strong intermediary relationships to support private banking services in Greater China.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Report into the Head of Wealth Planning for Greater China to provide comprehensive wealth structuring and wealth succession guidance and solutions for high and ultra-high net-worth clients for the offshore China and offshore Taiwan market of Global Private Banking.
•Collaborate with the wider Wealth Planning & Advisory team and other specialists from both inhouse and external service providers to facilitate the cross-sell of HSBC’s overall legacy capabilities.
•Exercise key business strategies and revenue growth, while maintaining HSBC's commitment to client centric excellence.
•Provide training to relationship managers and other internal stakeholders, and work on other projects as assigned from time to time.
•Monitor industry trends and maintain close relationships with intermediaries in the wealth planning industry.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•At least 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial institutions, professional firms, or independent trust companies.
•Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with the STEP, CPA, law qualification
•Sound analytical mind and strong self-motivator
•Collaborative team player who can work closely with different business partners and stakeholders
•Must have Chinese and English language fluency and experience in advising clients on wealth planning matters in Putonghua
