Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Deal Desk, Privacy, Security) to support high-velocity enterprise deal cycles across AMER, APJ, and Japan.
•Draft, negotiate, and advise on outbound commercial agreements and strategic partnership agreements, including SaaS agreements and related terms such as DPAs, BAAs, product-specific terms, and AI terms.
•Serve as a trusted legal advisor to sales teams, providing practical guidance and driving transaction structures aligned with company policies and business objectives.
•Train sales teams on common commercial issues and best practices to help close transactions efficiently.
•Develop and scale commercial legal best practices and resources (knowledge-sharing materials, legal playbooks, frameworks) and stay current on emerging global laws and regulatory shifts.

Salary: USD 202,000 - 229,000 annually

Key Requirements

•J.D. degree from an accredited institution and active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar association.
•4+ years of experience practicing law, including significant in-house experience supporting sales organizations on complex outbound enterprise revenue transactions.
•Experience with SaaS agreements and related agreements such as DPAs, BAAs, product-specific terms, and AI terms.
•Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, Privacy, Security, and Legal Operations to move deals toward closing.
•Strong legal and business judgment, able to assess risk and translate legal nuances into actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
