Key Responsibilities

  • •Support assigned Business Unit and cross-functional teams with packaging development needs for new products and packaging changes.
  • •Manage multiple packaging development and cost reduction projects/programs.
  • •Execute packaging trials and line testing; collect and analyze performance data and recommend improvements.
  • •Assist with the development of technological innovation in equipment, materials, processing, or package design.
  • •Ensure packaging solutions comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements; collaborate with suppliers on new materials, formats, or technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Packaging Engineering (or related) or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
  • •1+ year of relevant practical work experience is required with a Bachelor’s degree; no years required with a Master’s+ degree.
  • •Previous experience with food packaging is a plus.
  • •Good critical thinking, problem solving, and project management skills.
  • •Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Cape, Tops, ArtiosCad, CAD, and Specright is a plus.
