Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; diagnose issues using data from makes and models.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs for power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and complete repairs.
  • •Set up and operate equipment in the shop and on customer sites; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.
  • •Maintain complete daily electronic documentation and assist in training lower-level technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position.
  • •Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience with power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal/effective tonnage or kW requirements and read/know schematics.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, with equipment service/maintenance/repair experience preferred.
