Job Summary

Build customer relationships and drive sales of deposits, loans, and fee-based services as a Retail Personal Banker II. Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, then use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to grow and retain customers. Proactively reach out using marketing tools, cross-sell, coordinate referrals with business partners, and meet production goals while following risk and compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend solutions aligned to customer needs.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and perform outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community events.
•Partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) for referrals and meet customer experience and production goals.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to learn and perform sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
