Lead daily operations for an onsite manufacturing organization, managing resources, schedules, productivity, and personnel development. Develop recovery plans for performance misses and use continuous improvement/lean methods to deliver cost savings.

•Manage daily operations and lead assigned resources, including schedule adherence, productivity, training, and departmental goal monitoring.
•Create and maintain a cross-training matrix, mentor personnel, and deploy team members for cross-functional problem solving to improve efficiency and quality.
•Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met; develop credible recovery plans when performance misses occur.
•Review daily demand and production capacity, optimize production schedules, and manage workflow using KPIs and daily reporting.
•Direct and coordinate manufacturing activities across multiple manufacturing functions; coordinate with Supply Chain for procurement/MRO and with Engineering and Quality Control to resolve rejected product causes.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•B.S. Degree in Engineering, manufacturing, business, or a related field.
•5+ years of direct experience in an operations manufacturing environment.
•5+ years of leadership and management experience.
•Strong financial acumen, including managing budgets, overtime, incentives, and benefits.
•Strong computer knowledge and abilities (JDE, SAP, Microsoft Office).
