Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and lead production-grade data engineering applications across agile teams with end-to-end delivery ownership.
•Implement scalable ELT/ETL and 24x7 real-time event streaming pipelines using Ab Initio Continuous Flows/Spark Streaming and Kafka ecosystems with strong delivery guarantees.
•Own event-driven data workflows for high-throughput, low-latency financial transaction processing and build/operate Lakehouse infrastructure on AWS (S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift).
•Develop AI-ready data products and feature pipelines, and lead cloud migration to modernize legacy batch ETL into cloud-native, event-driven architecture.
•Define and enforce engineering standards (coding best practices, CI/CD, DevOps), mentor engineers, and collaborate with architects and product/program stakeholders in SAFe/Scaled Agile.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related) with 8+ years of ELT/ETL, data warehousing, or Lakehouse engineering experience (or 10+ years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
•8+ years full lifecycle data engineering experience across Ab Initio, Kafka (MSK/Confluent), Spark, Hive, and RDBMS (Oracle/MySQL), plus AWS services including EMR, MSK, Glue, S3, Redshift, and IAM.
•5+ years building 24x7 real-time/streaming pipelines and 2+ years in AWS cloud platform engineering, including infrastructure-as-code and containerized workloads.
•Experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams in an Agile/SAFe delivery environment.
•Ability to travel for business as needed.
