Job Summary

Provide general legal services to adidas Korea, advising internal business partners on contractual matters including counselling, contract review, drafting and negotiation, and structuring transactions. Support business strategy with early-stage legal advice, guidance on business plans, and monitoring of legal and regulatory changes. Lead risk management by identifying legal risks and non-compliance, supervise delivery through outside counsel, and support corporate recordkeeping and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide legal services to adidas Korea, including counselling, contract review, drafting and negotiation, structuring of transactions, and legal risk assessment/dispute avoidance.
•Liaise with business partners to support legal matters, including advising on strategy development and key decisions.
•Provide legal guidance for business plans and ensure implementation aligns with legal and regulatory objectives.
•Devise legal strategies and solutions to safeguard against corporate liabilities, including handling disputes and negotiating with counterparties/stakeholders.
•Manage and supervise delivery of legal services through outside counsel, and oversee corporate recordkeeping and related corporate transactions.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Law degree (LL.B.).
•5-8 years of law firm or legal department experience in Korea in general corporate, e-commerce, privacy, and transactional/commercial law.
•Experience with multinational companies in Korea preferred.
•Strong background in contract law, drafting and negotiation, and business counselling.
•Ability to work independently and manage/prioritize a substantial and diverse workload.
