Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to design and assessment teams on bridge/civil engineering projects in the UK and overseas
  • •Lead project reviews to optimise solutions and coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs
  • •Manage resources and develop relationships with other teams
  • •Agree fees and manage the commercial position on projects
  • •Lead a culture of technical review and challenge and mentor junior team members

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
  • •Experience in bridge design, maintenance and assessment gained from construction sites and design office
  • •Experience in project management of bridge projects
  • •Proven design, maintenance and supervision experience on bridges and civil structures with a track record of innovation
  • •Knowledge of Eurocodes and their application to bridge design; experience with DMRB and MCDHW would be advantageous
