Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, integrate, and adapt AI/ML algorithms for the perception autonomy stack to collect information across platform sensor suites.
  • •Create software to autonomously control sensors (EO, IR, acoustics, radar, RF) and optimally fuse information between sensor systems.
  • •Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices, using computer-in-the-loop testing, profiling, and performance data collection.
  • •Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams to deploy heterogeneous platform swarms for on-site DoD testing and demonstrations.
  • •Interact with DoD customers to understand use cases and triage needs during field events, and drive simulation playback and integration improvement plans based on results and feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Computer Science, Optimization, or equivalent OR 5+ years working with sensor algorithms, hardware, and HIL software integration.
  • •Experience with multiple sensor modalities (e.g., EO, IR, lidar, radar, sonar, acoustics) with core understanding of sensor physics and control parameters.
  • •Experience training and deploying ML algorithms (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) onto integrated systems (ONNX, C++ models).
  • •Familiarity with tracking basics (e.g., Kalman filters) and optimal sensor fusion.
  • •Experience working comfortably in Linux and Docker.
