Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with the team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform at scale across multiple domains (OS/container systems, serverless infrastructure, partner integration, ML infrastructure).
  • •Contribute to the design and development of the serverless platform to power big data, ML, and Gen AI workloads while ensuring scale across millions of machines in a multi-cloud environment.
  • •Help build and improve the core cloud platform, including OS, container, and networking technologies, to enhance security, efficiency, and reliability across the fleet.
  • •Support and advance the notebook dataplane to provide a multi-language, multi-user, collaborative REPL experience for data science and AI/ML workflows.
  • •Contribute to improving developer experience, observability, and safety of Databricks services across clouds.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science or a related field
  • •5+ years of production-level experience in Java, Scala, Golang, C++, or similar language
  • •Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
  • •Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
  • •Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes)
