Job Summary

Analyze and support international trade compliance for the US, Singapore, and India, including customs and sanctions requirements. Participate in trade projects, gather and analyze product and transactional data, manage license requirements, and maintain documentation. Track trade reviews and release trade holds in the ERP system. Develop and improve regional trade compliance processes, procedures, and training, and provide advisory on import/export requirements such as TradeFirst and FTA.

Key Responsibilities

•Participate in international trade projects by analyzing requirements, advising, and setting up new trade processes, procedures, and monitoring results.
•Support customs and trade compliance by gathering and analyzing product/transactional data, managing license requirements, and preparing reports and documentation for US, Singapore, and India.
•Track and manage trade reviews of shipments and release trade holds in Applied’s ERP system.
•Develop, maintain, and improve regional international trade compliance processes, desk-level procedures, and internal compliance programs (ICP/export control programs).
•Conduct post-import/post-export reviews, provide training and advisory on import/export requirements (including TradeFirst and FTA), and handle incident management and audits/self-assessments for controls effectiveness.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of U.S. export regulations (EAR) and Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act (SGCA), with familiarity with regional compliance matters such as India SCOMET.
•Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
•Ability to organize multi-task and consistently follow up on time-critical issues.
•Ability to work independently in a multi-cultural environment and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Strong analytical, investigative, written, and communication skills with detail-oriented critical thinking and negotiation skills.
