Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-coating operations including surface preparation and masking duties using verbal, written, or computer-generated instructions.
  • •Perform post-coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures, removing masking, and troubleshooting/diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
  • •Carry out minor repairs on coating equipment where applicable and perform Total Preventive Maintenance on applicable machines/equipment as required.
  • •Perform deburring, blending, polishing, countersinking, grinding, drilling, or grit blast operations using hand and power tools on aerospace engine components.
  • •Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using measuring tools, refer difficulties to leaders, and assist engineers in developing new or changed operations.
